AFS operation meeting 2016-01-04

Issues before/over XMas:

• nearly-full / on AFSDB servers, due to local DB backups. manually cleaned, need proper fix ( AFS-373 ). Machines have rather small root partition.
• one more "work.boinc" stuckiness, now (again)  moved to afs286 (afssrv/fileserver16/boinc)
• readonly-monitor: sent mails, due to bug, fixed.
• high weekly loadavg: tell updatedb to ignore AFS partitions ( AFS-372 , need to go to production)
  • need to clean up between "qa" and "master", then decide how to prevent further mess.
• many SNOW KB article have apparently been retired, need to review and rescue those we wanted to keep.
• ABS checking script is unhappy about some volumes - may need to delete some old corrupt CASTOR files
• arc-server: now in GIT, should be able to roll out CC7 version fairly easily.
• Dan: many AFS machines seem to have puppet failures (per Foreman summary report), need to check

AFS-PoW 2016: should start to collect things to do in 2016

• de-arc ?
• no AFS on fileservers (requires to review all scripts)?
• CC7
• VM+blockstorage?
