Parking Info

If you are driving to UMD, parking is available in the Regents Drive garage across the road from the Physical Sciences Complex (see top map above). On Thursday and Friday, please park in a numbered space at the garage and use the validation code 802-71435 at a pay station, first entering your space number and then selecting the menu options "New Transaction" --> "More Selections" --> "More Selections" --> "5+ Hr Validation Code." In the event that all numbered spots in the Regents Drive garage are taken, the same parking code can be used at the other visitor lots and garages around UMD, see the full visitor parking map.

On Saturday, there will be a campus-wide open house event ("Maryland Day"); free parking will be available but visitors will be directed to certain lots by signage and traffic attendants. Please consult a campus map or ask UMD staff for directions to the Physical Sciences Complex (next to Regents Drive garage).

Transportation to Dinners

Transportation to and from the dinners on Thursday and Friday will be provided by drivers from UMD. We will arrange to pick up attendees from the Best Western and the Comfort Inn at approximately 7 PM. Please contact an organizer if you are staying somewhere else and will need transportation, or if you would like to drive to dinner yourself.
