Description
I discuss heavy quark production near threshold. I present results for the two-loop soft anomalous dimension, which is derived from dimensionally regularized eikonal diagrams with heavy quarks and controls soft-gluon emission in heavy quark production. Detailed results for the UV poles of the eikonal integrals will be shown. The construction of the soft anomalous dimension at two-loops allows soft-gluon resummations at NNLL accuracy.
