Description
Finite viscosity affects the evolution of the fireball created
in energetic nuclear collisions. A recent attempt of the CERES
experiment to extract viscosity from pion source radii in
central lead-gold collisions at the CERN SPS will be presented.
The unexpected result, the limitations of the method, and the
possible ways out will be discussed.
