Description
Speaker's short bio: I am head of the ATLAS group at Nikhef, the Dutch institute for particle physics and have been member of ATLAS since 2004. I am the primary author of the RooFit software toolkit for statistical data modeling that is heavily used in particle physics and in the LHC Higgs discovery in particular . In the ATLAS collaboration I have been, among others, convener of the top quark physics group, convener of the Higgs Properties and combinations subgroup, and convener of the ATLAS statistics forum.
