Title: Dissipative hydrodynamics from effective field theory
I will provide a first principle formulation of an effective field theory for hydrodynamics. The key feature is the underlying Schwinger-Keldysh partition function and its symmetries which can be implemented using superspace techniques. I will also show how a conserved entropy current arises naturally in this formalism.
