Advacam has evolved from two separate academic technology spin-off companies to a specialist in manufacturing of the state-of-the-art X-ray cameras. The company manufactures pixel sensors and cameras in-house, and is also developing new radical X-ray imaging methods. For our next EM-U, CTO and co-founder Sami Vähänen will tell us the Advacam story; a story of growing a high-tech company in an organic way, with sweat and successes since 2012.
