Hello everyone, In this tutorial, we will learn how to use Quicktime player to do a screen recording on a Maac. QuickTime is a multimedia framework developed by Apple. It is natively installed on most Mac Computers. So if you have a Mac, you should also have Quicktime. You can find Quicktime in the launchpad ================================== Open Quicktime App. Your window should be like this. To do a screen recording, go to the menu bar on the top of the screen. Then click on file and then on new screen recording A new window should open. Click on the little arrow (here) and choose your audio input device. Choose also if you want the mouse clicks to be shown in the video. Finally click on the recording button. Quicktime Player will ask you whether you want to record the entire screen or just a part of it. To record the entire screen you can click anywhere and the recording will begin. If you want to record just part of the screen Click and hold the mouse button while you stretch the rectangle that you want to record. Click on the square button on the menu bar to stop recording. A new window with your video will open. ================= To export this video click on File, then on export and select the video resolution that you want. Quicktime will ask you to choose the output file name and the output folder. Quicktime exports the video in .mov format. Mac users can also use ActivePresenter.
