Hello! I'm Vincent, I’m going to present you how to use Mail to print at Cern. Mail to print allows you to sent some document to a printer by mail.

This feature support files as doc docx xls xlsx pdf txt html jpg and the email body. However, files protected with a password aren't supported.

Mail2Print works using any kind of devices, including Android, Iphone, Ipad, windows devices, etc.

It simply need to be able to send whatever you want to print to a mail address.

I just received this mail from Robert. You see there's two files attached to that mail and some body text. I'm going to forward it, including the attachments to the dedicated mail, which is mail2print.service at cern.ch

I let the body and the subject as it's and I just send the mail. 

After few seconds, this might take longer depending on the size of the attachments you forwarded, you'll receive a confirmation mail, containing a web link. Please, open the web link.

At the web page, you'll have the list of the attachments. The last on the list is the message's body, so the mail content itself. You can deselect whatever you want. In my case, I’ll only choose one pdf file to be printed out.

Then you can choose a printer close to you. Or if you want you can choose a printer somewhere else in the cern campus. you have the complete list of available printer by clicking on the plus sign. 

In my case, I’ll just choose the first printer in the list.

And Then you may have to choose whether you want to print in color or in black and white depeding printer device. I'm going to print in black and white.

then you'll have the confirmation that the job has been sent to the printer. Simply go to the printer you selected and get your paper.
