Description
Our collaborators Aleksey Levichev, Danila Nikiforov and Alexey Barnyakov, from BINP institute, will present their simulation work with a 20A electron gun, transport through the bent structure currently designed by Diego Perini - CERN (even if this is at the moment designed for the HEL), and compression/transmission through the main magnets. The results will give us a feedback on the limits we have in beam size = current density, which translate in acceleration voltage required, beam chamber size (if optimised for transport) and shape, compression factor.
