The first workshop, PyHEP 2018, of the new series of workshops “Python in HEP”, will be held as a pre-CHEP event in Sofia, Bulgaria, on 7-8 July 2018, just before the start of CHEP. It will focus on a review of where and how Python is used in our community, and what the future will hold. The pre-conference workshop will be a forum for the participants, representatives of the community, to discuss topics around the areas of work identified in the HSF Community White Paper. There will be ample time for discussion.
The workshop will take place in the Hilton Hotel, 5 minutes walk from the CHEP conference venue. Up-to-date information can be found on the agenda page. The PyHEP 2018 registration will be an optional part of the registration process for the CHEP 2018 conference.
