Topic 2: Tools and Methods for Partial Wave Analyses Session

Speaker

Dr Bertram Kopf

Description

This talk will summarize the Partial Wave Analysis (PWA) activities carried
out at Ruhr-Universitaet Bochum. The key objective is to realize a powerful,
user-friendly and highly modular PWA software package with the ability to
provide amplitudes in different formalisms and to support single and coupled
channel analyses with data obtained from different hadron spectroscopy
experiments.
After a brief overview of the present status of the software package PAWIAN
(Partial Wave Interactive Analysis) results from recent analyses, focused on
important aspects of the pbar p and e+ e- annihilation processes are summarized.
Finally rough ideas on how to consider analyticity and unitarity in PAWIAN
will be briefly discussed.
