Description

The baryon asymmetry of the Universe could originate from the lepton asymmetry which was produced at relatively low temperatures. Using a model with three right-handed neutrinos ($\nu$MSM) as an example, we demonstrate how to obtain a kinetic equation for the baryon number density and show in which cases this accurate treatment could be important.
