Kenyan Young Generation in Nuclear (KYGN) Welcomes You to Nairobi for The MAIDEN African Youth Nuclear Summit (AYNS)

Kenyan Young Generation in Nuclear (KYGN) will be hosting the first African Youth Nuclear Summit (AYNS2017) in Nairobi from 27th to 30th March, 2017. The summit will bring together young and senior nuclear professionals from the; academia,research and development, radiation services providers, healthcare, nuclear operators, nuclear regulators among others to share, exchange ideas and network on issues related to nuclear science and technology.

Late Registration is now Extended to 26th March, 2017.

Call for Papers is also extended to 20th March, 2017.

This summit seeks to amongst others:

  • Strengthen networks among the professionals in nuclear science and technology opening up future opportunities for the youth, 

 

  • Provide a platform for leading scientists and researchers in nuclear science and technology to share their expert knowledge and to transfer it to the young generation.

 

  •  Share opportunities and encourage youth participation in nuclear related research, innovation and skills development programs,

 

  • Expand nuclear networks among the young people in Africa so as to enhance an active participation in International Youth Nuclear Congress and other related nuclear science and technology bodies.

 

  • Provide a platform for participants to learn ways of promoting the peaceful uses of nuclear science and technology for the welfare of mankind,

 

  • Provide a platform in which the policy makers will appreciate the benefit of embracing nuclear science and technology in its development agenda.

 

  • Develop spirit of volunteerism and establish mechanisms for youth engagement in
