Status of development on the SAMPIC Waveform TDC (Dominique Robert Breton)

SAMPIC introduces a new generation of TDC which can work directly on analog signals. This so-called "Waveform TDC", smart mix of TDC and ultra fast analog memory,  permits sampling 16 channels up to 10 GS/s over 64 samples. The time resolution obtained after a simple CFD interpolation of the digitized waveform is of a few ps rms. 
The talk will re-introduce this new concept and describe the current status of its development (ASIC and associated readout module).
