Description

UN Sustainable Development Goals

On September 25th 2015, United Nations countries adopted a set of goals to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure prosperity for all as part of a new sustainable development agenda. Each goal has specific targets to be achieved over the next 15 years, by 2030. For the goals to be reached, everyone needs to participate and contribute: governments, the private sector, civil society and people like us. Current challenge is that details about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) are not widely known, and how to contribute even less.

Join us for a collaborative afternoon on the 1st of March to CERN Ideasquare (3179-R-E06) to exchange information, find ways to take part, brainstorm and kickstart concrete initiatives that will make change happen, faster.

This event is organised in collaboration with G3iD - Geneva Global Goals Innovation Day, an initiative to unleash the creative potential of International Geneva; promote & practice disruptive innovation and co-creation; and forge innovation partnerships & collaboration - to radically accelerate progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals.
