PS report (A. Gerrero Ollacarizqueta):

See Slides: most noticeable event: 4 hour stop for extraction septum SMH18. An electro-valve needed replacement.

SPS report (H. Bartosic)

Good beam availability since the weekend.  Before that a 5 hour stop was needed for a kicker. The length of the investigation is explained by the problem being at the responsibility boundary between two groups.

EA Irrrad and Charm (S. Danzeca by mail): We will run with this intensity for the entire week.

  • In CHARM it was the first time that we installed the double rack configuration to allow EPC and LHCb to test at the same time.
  • In IRRAD, there are two new installation, LHCb and ATLAS and they will run for 2-3 weeks.

T9 Enubet (F. Terranova): See slides. Using the target 2 (Electron rich) since last Friday different beam configurations between 1 and 5 GeV/c used to test the prototype calorimeter blocks

J. Bernhard: MNP17 magnet transnport is being prepared for SHiP Emulsion beam test. Tests of irradiated SiPMs.

T10 ALICE ITS (P. Martinengo): ALICE ITS took the beam between Tuesday and today.

nTOF: Will keep running in these conditions for the next 2 weeks.

H2 CMS HCAL (A. Belloni): See the slides. Preliminary distributions obtained with the new phase 1 upgrade electronics and Phase 2 scintilator material samples. Thanks to Nikos for having tunned a 200GeV/c electron beam over the weekend.

H2 NA61 (A. Aduszkiewiez): Problems of spurious low dump signals from the MSS prevented ramping VTX 2 magnet.  VTX1 magnet was ramped-up. In the process of investigating the MSS, VTX1 has quenched. Will start with beam this evening 60GeV/c π+. Problems operating the CEDAR. Expert investigating. A high current is observed on the TPCs, probably from the humidity in the hall. Please keep the truck access doors closed when not in use.  No sound from the new vistar TV displays is inconvenient.

H4  LEMMA (M. Soldani): See Slides. Preliminary distributions showing the identification of the muon pairs were shown. Thanks to the SBA team for the excellent high intensity and low divergence beam.

H4 RD51 (Y. Tsipolitis): Ready for a 3 weeks run.

N. Charotonidis reported on the ongoing field mapping of the Goliath. 4-5 more hours will be needed to complete the measurements. Can be done next Wednesday.

H6 ATLAS ITK (A. Rummler): ATLAS ITK were running in H6A, while in H6B there were various AFP setups.

H6 XSEC (M. Silari): Many groups came from remote institutes to make use of the CERF facility. Beam setup last nigh, data collection starting this morning.

H8 LHCb (H. Schindler): Problems on the VELO setup are being investigated.

H8 ATLAS muons (T. Alexopoulos): µMegas and GEMS are being tested, as well as new readout electronics.

H Wilkens reported on the successful test of the Morpurgo Magnet to 5kA. We now know how to recover from the resistive situation.

H8 FEI4 pix (): During the magnet tests yesterday, patrol was lost.

NA62 (M. Moulson): 18 units on T10 is the optimal, please maintain this intensity.

NA58 COMPASS (J Barth): OK

EA: Electron rich target.

T2/T4/T6 = 15 /35/150

Safety (S. Ugidos Seman): No specific issues.
