Abstract:
An excess of dileptons has been observed from the top RHIC energies of sqrt(s_NN) = 200 GeV down to the lowest SPS energies of sqrt (s_NN) = 9 GeV. The NICA facility under construction will allow to push the measurement of dileptons to much lower energies and to establish the onset of the low-mass excess related to chiral symmetry restoration and of the intermediate mass excess...
