 ight extended sources of gamma rays. In spite of a significant effort to e
 xplain the origin of these objects\, many questions remain unresolved.\nTh
 e purpose of the meeting is to review recent studies of the Fermi bubbles\
 , the GC excess\, and the Loop I\, to discuss the theoretical modeling\, a
 nd to overview how future observations and new instruments\, such as CTA\,
  eROSITA\, SKA\, will help us to uncover the origin of the three elephants
