Description
An updated study is presented of the various approaches to the deep nature and ultimate origin of Quantum Mechanics, with particular emphasis on the implications of the Quantum Experiments at Space Scale (QUESS), on the possible role of space-time beyond standard relativity and on the structure of the physical vacuum beyond standard Quantum Field Theory. Uncertainties on the cosmological history of the generation of Quantum Mechanics are also dealt with. Experimental tests and possible modifications of standard quantum mechanics, including new physics patterns, are equally discussed.
