By Plane
The closest airports are Nürnberg (Nuremberg) [NUE] and Munich [MUC]. Flights to Frankfurt [FRA] are also possible.
Probably the most convenient connection is to fly into Munich and then take a a transfer service (www.airportliner.com) to Regensburg that takes you directly to your hotel.
From Nürnberg airport we recommend to take the subway to Nürnberg main train station and then the train to Regensburg. (Takes about an hour.)
If you decide to fly via Frankfurt, you can also take the train from Frankfurt airport to Regensburg. The train from Frankfurt airport to Regensburg main station takes 3 to 4 hours, but the trains are convenient.
As public transportation and transfer services are good and convenient, we do not recommend to take a rental car to drive from the airport to Regensburg. The conference fee will include a ticket for the local bus system, so you will not need a car to go from your hotel to the conference venue.

Via highway A93 (exit 43 “Kumpfmühl”) or highway A3 (exit 100a “Universität”)
Set your navigation system to “Albertus-Magnus-Straße” and use the underground parking lot. (Free of charge)
However, the conference fee will include a bus ticket.
By Bus

Connections between the university and the downtown area are frequent and convenient.
