Description

The linear dilaton geometry in five dimensions, rediscovered
recently as a continuum limit of the clockwork mechanism, offers a
solution to the electroweak-Planck hierarchy problem that is
qualitatively different from scenarios with warped (Randall-Sundrum)
or large flat extra dimensions. In this talk, I will discuss various
phenomenological aspects of this scenario. I will emphasize several
previously overlooked collider signatures and outline certain types of
LHC searches that they motivate.
