Very rare decays are powerful probes for Physics beyond the Standard Model as new particles can have a large impact on physics observables. In particular the observation of lepton flavour violating decays would be an unambiguous sign of new Physics. The LHCb experiment is ideally suited for the search of these very rare decays due to its large acceptance, precise vertexing and powerful particle identification capabilities. In this talk the latest results from LHCb on searches of lepton flavour violating decays and other very rare decays will be presented.
