Semileptonic B and D decays from QCD sum rules Alexander Khodjamirian (University of Siegen) The recent applications of QCD light-cone sum rules (LCSRs) to semileptonic form factors of B and D mesons and the results of Vub determinations from exclusive semileptonic decays are overviewed. The LCSR methods with pion and kaon distribution amplitudes are used as well as a more universal method with B-meson distribution amplitudes where there is a more recent development and new applications are expected. LCSRs combined with hadronic dispersion relations also supply quantitative estimates of nonresonant background in B semileptonic decays with two pions in the final state.
