Abbreviated minutes
- Tasks were reviewed. See https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/bin/view/LCG/WLCGContainers#Actions for current status.
- LHCb and Alice presented their current status with Singularity:
- Both feel confident that they could live with the restrictions of non-setuid mode, though note that modifications will likely be needed to DIRAC and Alien to support this.
- LHCb noted that they don't make their own container image or chroot, but just use the standard CERNVM chroot, as used in their other deployments.
- Discussion ensued on the non-privileged Singularity mode and possible workarounds. Vincent proposed a workaround to individually bind-mount the subdirs of the CVMFS chroot on top of a writable "/" - which would effectively allow Singularity to create any directory in "/" without overlayfs.
