Abstract:
The LHC interlock BPM system is undergoing an upgrade, which includes a completely new set of RF front-end electronics that is currently being developed. This seminar will go through the architecture of this new system and will present some prototypes of components that have been successfully developed for the analog signal chain. I will go through the technical details of these developments and demonstrate their performance with measurements performed in the laboratory and with beam.
