After 1.5 months since the previous update, the progress has been modest, although there are a few sites that just await for the final checks by their VOs. 18/4/18 4/6/18 no reply 4% 0% on hold 30% 32% in progress 38% 38% done 28% 30% The OSG sites are not tracked; given that the OSG GOC will (has?) disappear(ed?), it is foreseen that GGUS tickets will be sent also to the OSG Tier-2 sites, but this hasn't happened yet. Observations on the main "regions" for what concerns the not-yet-done sites: - UK: it's a longe time since I could close a ticket: most sites are waiting for network infrastructure work to be completed, which should happen within the next few months. - FR: infrastructure-wise sites are more or less ready, dual-stacking of services is planned to happen by autummn. No particular worries. - IT: a couple of sites are close to finish; most of the rest are working on the infrastructure or are confident that they will meet the deadline. At a few, little evidence of activity. - DE: infrastructure upgrades are the main blocker; one site almost ready. - IBERGRID: half of the sites has finished, the rest claim to be ready well before the deadline. - RO: bogged down by routing issues; the hope is that things will speed-up considerably after they are solved. - Russia: little information available about ETA and plans. - AsiaPacific: mostly waiting for networking work to be completed, but no particular reasons for concern. - LA: networking upgrades are the main blocker. The vast majority of sites show confidence that they will be able to meet the deadline. Unfortunately there are some sites who are very hard to extract information from (despite the regular reminders by Guenter Grein and me). I haven't yet produced a pie chart weighted by site size rather than by site because REBUS does not contain reliable site-level information about the installed capacity, or pledge information (only at the federation level). I still could do it, but it involves a lot of manual work and I haven't yet found the time. The current evidence shows that we are in a good position for meeting the deadline of end 2018 (strictly speaking end of Run2) with a good approximation, provided that a constant level of pressure is kept on the sites. OSG sites are still a bit of an unknown for me personally, but things should get better once tickets are submitted to them. Of course we know that several OSG sites do have IPv6 working, I just cannot quote any number.
