INC1689295 (was RQF1026654 - Request transformed into Incident : INC1689295)
In the transformation process the incident went to the "Waiting for user" state. Does this mean that experts were not aware of this incident? Issue with service desk?
Update: This incident has been resolved. PXE boot is working, not sure why. The firewall on the proxy server has been configured to allow access.
RQF1017767 (17-05-2018) host certificate issues
1. I requested a host certificate for np04-srv-004. This certificate was granted. However I did not download the certificate from the web page. I was thinking that I could login to the host and install the certificate from there. However I was unable to find instructions on the web to do this.
2. I also attempted to auto enroll np04-srv-004. This computer has two network interfaces, np04-srv-004 and np04-srv-004-ctrl. The installation was done on the ctrl interface. Here is the error message when I attempt to autoenroll.
[root@np04-srv-004 etc]# cern-get-certificate --autoenroll
Error: Requesting/managing certificate for hostname: np04-srv-004.cern.ch but authenticated as: host/np04-srv-004-ctrl.cern.ch.
How should I move forward to get a host certificate for np04-srv-004?
RQF0931185 (Jan 2018) - kerberos login to service account at console
Is it possible to login to a service account at a computer console using the kerberos principal and password of a CERN user?
Otherwise we must share a password between users to login to a group account for detector operations.
