Chair: Jeremy C Minutes: Robert F Experiment reports LHCb (Andrew): - not aware of anything CMS (Daniela): - Not much to report - Bristol problems ongoing, passing the tests half the time Atlas (Elena): - Glasgow ticket on deletion, related to down SE - files were declared lost but repeatedly, but reappear - Sam will remove lost files from their namespace - localgroupdisk full, team will start clean up - data disk at Imperial decommissioned successfully GridPP DIRAC: - CERN prod had last job run in June, it's used for development - Lancaster VAC should have been removed, Andrew will blank it out General Updates: - EGI trustanchor 1.92-1 broadcast wasn't sent out, upgrade deadline extended by one week - Alessandra asked all sites to support all three servers of the GridPP VOMS service - Some sites had only one configured which caused problems with SKA - HTCondor workshop at RAL in September (4th to 7th) - WLCG SOC workshop last week - registration for HEPix is now open WLCG Operations Co-ordination - no meetings recently - next meeting on 5th July - archival storage group meeting on 5th of July Tier-1 Status - extensive circuit breaker testing at RAL 24-26 July, services are at risk Tier-2 Evolution - general deployment of updated VMs for GridPP DIRAC and LHCb Interoperation - new monthly EGI newsletter available Security - nothing new, apart from the problem with the LCG CA broadcast - SOC workshop last week went well - BRO tuning - Paul presented work on using fail2ban in their cluster - possibility of using MISP to share that information - David will represent the outcome of the SOC workshop at CHEP - next security meeting this afternoon Services - LHCOPN/LHCONE meeting goes to Fermilab in October Tickets - IPv6 tickets, some could use with an update - only 19 regular tickets - Bristol - CMS SAM test failure - CMS DDM quota, if the space is made available the ticket can be closed - Birmingham - EOS deployment, seems to go well, needs chasing - Glasgow - Perfsonar upgrade ticket, waiting for 4.1 to come out - Atlas disk errors - ECDF - Low availability ROD ticket, on hold, everything on green - Durham - Perfsonar upgrade ticket, needs an update - Sheffield - Atlas transfer ticket (DPM database cleanup), closed - t2k problems to download files, missing files - Liverpool - HTTP failure ticket, fixed itself by HTTP restarter - UCL - Perfsonar upgrade ticket, needs an update - QMUL - CMS request to install singularity, on hold - APEL ticket for SLURM (CMS), information from the APEL devs requested - Brunel - black hole node, solved - CMS xroot configuration, CMS asking for progress, needs update - 100IT - availability ticket, full of auto replies Daniela tried to sort this out, they have one alarm left which doesn't affect availablity Daniela suggested to contact the monitoring people and ask for clarification on tests - Tier 1: - Perfsonar upgrade ticket, in testing, roll-out soonish - CMS ticket, file read problems, problems seems to be with singularity - old ticket from 2016, failing Echo tests, fix requires tweaking SE_PATH, underway - Jeremy: lots of IPv6 and Perfsonar tickets, Tier2 Perfsonar and storage should be on IPv6 by end of 2018 would like to know what the bottlenecks are that could cause sites to miss the deadline Discussion - questions on material and inputs for CHEP - Sam got feedback from multiple sites for his talk - push harder to get material for the GridPP6 position paper after CHEP, some things need to be done by end of August - Jeremy is working on the Storage and Data management one (with Andrew) and the Operations one (with Pete, David and a few others) - there will be a discussion about it at the next storage meeting (4 July) Chat Window Paige Winslowe Lacesso: (03/07/2018 11:04) Is anyone talking?
