ALICE Masterclass on Strangeness (hands-on) 1h

This meeting is actually a hands-on, so we need you to bring laptops and if possible prepare before coming.

      What do you need?

      1. At least 8 GB of free space on your hard drive.

      2. Please download package Masterclass.zip from one of the following links. It is a big file, it can take time!
        https://cernbox.cern.ch/index.php/s/HBVnuYOGYSNqvqq
        http://www.if.pw.edu.pl/~majanik/MasterClass.zip

      3. Please unpack the downloaded zip file! (Again, it may take a lot of time)

      4. Choose one of two methods starting the masterclass:

      a. if you already have linux, root (& aliroot) installed on your machine just go into unpacked directory ALICE_exercises, unpack zip file ALICE-masterclasses-strangeness.zip and try to start masterclass.C macro as a test.

---> If you are sure this method will work for you, you can also download just following package instead of big zip file from points 2 & 3:
      http://aliceinfo.cern.ch/public/MasterCL/ALICE-masterclasses-strangeness.zip

      b. if you have windows, or did not install root on your computer, please Install virtualbox program on your laptop. Installation files for windows and mac can be found in folder VirtualBox_Installation_Files, for other systems you can e.g. install virtualbox-* packages from the repository. Then please follow instructions in the file MasterClass_Installation_via_VirtualBox.pdf

If you try above steps yourself before coming then we will have more time for the hands-on. Also, then there is a better chance you will be able to repeat all the steps in the future.
