Description

Prototypes create various different values based on their fidelity, materials and how you test them. Jani Kalasniemi will give you an introduction to the value of prototypes and show you real-life examples where prototypes create different values in different situations and stages.

You may have seen him around IdeaSquare - Jani is working at IdeaSquare at CERN colliding CERN researchers and technologies with international master-level students to tackle social problems and create new meaningful innovations for the future. Jani has a Mechanical Engineering M.Sc. from Aalto University with a focus on user-centred product development, mechatronics, and leadership. His studies included studies at Stanford University and the European Particle Physics Research Center (CERN). For the past four years, Jani has been working with several startup companies developing their businesses, new products, and services for international markets.
