  • Travel. The closest airport is Dortmund Airport. A shuttle connects it to Dortmund main station every 30min. From Düsseldorf Airport, trains to Dortmund main station take about 1 hour. Common flight connections are from London Luton (Easyjet) or London Stansted (Ryanair) to Dortmund, and London City or London Heathrow to Düsseldorf. Travel to campus is most convenient via train line S1 from the main station ("Dortmund Hbf") to the stop "Universität".

  • Acomodation. There is a small number of rooms blocked for the meeting at the hotel "Esplanade". Please contact Ms Laurent at <laurent@physik.tu-dortmund.de>. It is situated in walking distance from the main station.

  • Weather. Warm and waterproof clothing and footwear are recommended, as we have the chance to visit the local Christmas market.
