Description

On September 2018, the CERN Council formally launched the update of the European Strategy for Particle Physics, a two-year process involving the whole community and aiming at developing a common vision for the future of particle physics in Europe. The process is expected to be concluded in May 2020, with the approval of the updated strategy by CERN’s Council. The particle-physics community have been invited to submit written input by 18 December 2018. Several CERN member states including Israel are preparing a report to be submitted before the 18/12 deadline. As a preparation to the writing of the Israeli report a steering committee was created, with representatives from the different HEP groups in Israel. The committee solicited a compilation of theoretical concepts and experimental methods to form the enclosed draft of the document. In this meeting we plan to further discuss the various contributions to the Israeli input.

The submitted pdf version of the report is enclosed below.
