Idea is to create tailor-made Internship Programme for CGB member institutions: - Two students per institution – MASTER and Bachelor level only - one week of lectures at CERN – linked with the study programme content, both high energy physics and accelerator technologies. Lecturers will be chosen from the different available programmes and schools at CERN – mini summer school format. - the second week: students will be integrated in - depending on students study subject and interests - CERN (and CMS) groups – to experience how research is done at CERN - this would be the test ground for much longer study periods for our student at CERN – when the study programme will be launched – up-to 6-9 months at CERN - First CERN BG Internship programme – April/May 2019

http://ippog.org/ IPPOG is a network of scientists, science educators and communication specialists working across the globe in informal science education and outreach for particle physics. Particle physics is the science of matter, energy, space and time. IPPOG brings new discoveries in this exciting field to young people and conveys to the public that the beauty of nature is indeed becoming understandable from the interactions of its most fundamental parts - the elementary particles. - CBG and IPPOG collaboration possibilities - TIER III simulation tool for schools - Dati Group ideas - Jānis IRBE
