Abstract While string theory was believed to have a landscape of de Sitter vacua, the recent swampland conjectures postulate that metastable de Sitter vacua are in the swampland. In this talk I will focus on what seems to be the most solid and generic construction of de Sitter vacua in string theory, that of KKLT, and show the multiple reasons why it might be in the swampland.
