Session

Efficient use of modern CPU architectures, vectorization, and cross-architecture real-time programming

Jul 15, 2019, 3:00 PM

Description

Ideas for topics:

  1. Compare x86 and Allen VELO reconstructions; what can they learn from each other?
  2. Put in place a large number of HLT2 charm lines and evaluate the combinatorics burden. Which parts of the combinatorics engine take the most time?
  3. Evaluate HLT2 performance combining the reconstruction and combinatorics, set up config with both in the nightly tests.
