Brian Paul Bockelman (University of Nebraska-Lincoln (US)), Philippe Canal (Fermi National Accelerator Lab. (US))

Attendees: Philippe, Oksana, Jakob

Jakob: I will be at FNAL last week of August and first week of September.

Jakob: I talked to Professor André Brinkmann, University of Mainz,  involved in NVRAM development about seeing if there a PHD thesis possible there.  June 18 meeting.  A PhD student could be funded by German government to look at this.  Also there is a question of which hardware to use and how to get it (Micron and Intel are partner with OpenLab).

Jakob:  I still have a couple of comment to address in the RForest PR.

Philippe: I will take a (last) look at it today.

Oksana:  Focused on writing paper for ACAT.    Still working on lingering issues in the use of roottest in ‘standalone’ mode.

Danilo:  I have 2 pull request that needs some attention.   One is a fix to allow TTreeReader and RDataFrame to read columns exploiting polymorphism.  The other is PR3746 where it seems to uncovered an pre-existing problem.

Philippe; Indeed it looks that way, let me take another look.

Philippe: We need to look at the MacOS failures…

Philippe: Next meeting next week.
