Notes Xrootd:

Wei is unable to attend. From email report: "Not much to report on the xrootd side other than that xrootd 4.10 is released. we are continue helping sites on their setups, and I will try out Albert's smoke test for xrootd."

Notes HTTP:

Xrootd 4.10: brought bugfixes for HTTP, including ability to redirect without "Authorization" header.
-> Xrootd-based HTTP transfer no longer need workarounds in the smoke tests.
Nebraska, Florida, UBonn on 4.10 and look relatively healthy in the smoke tests.
OU has been looking at various configuration changes needed to add HTTPS support (today is a scheduled downtime).
- Need to fixup the XRootD storage configuration for space tokens. Facing issue with space reporting for ATLAS; want to get that fixed before trying out new protocols.
- Need to figure out strategy for VOMS security extraction.
Lucia / CNAF: Changed to a new endpoint name. Seems to have been done successfully?
- Possibly done for Rucio but not smoke tests (see: https://github.com/paulmillar/http-tpc-utils/blob/master/etc/endpoints#L18)
- ACTION ITEM(AndreaC): send in PR for endpoint change in smoke tests.
- This provides a new StoRM version but the new name was long-planned.
dCache 5.2 released 1 July (probably in old notes?); this contains a number of improvements for both the xrootd and https implementations.
