Antonio and Guillermo have been working on the readout.

Antonio - Testbench at 581, with Guillermo in the past few days they have set up the complete test chain. At present there is 1 segment that is complete and works fine. Able to upload and download the pedestals. There are problems with the other 2 boards, but there are no other that work fine. One board is completely dead, while the other 3 boards there is a strange behaviour. They did a certain number of tests putting different CCs and DILOGIC cards. There is another set of cards that for sure is good, but at the present there is not a good segment board. Meanwhile Antonio is preparing on the station software for programming the system. Yuri has been contacted to check whether CPV has any spare segments. Further investigations need to be done to be able to mount a new testbench. 

Giacinto suggests that we add second segment from CPV and check if we can see 2 segments. Antonio will go to 581 this afternoon and will confirm whether the 2 segments are connected. Most probably the segments were damaged with power cuts or accidental rising of voltages. 

Conclusion: Antonio to use second segment from CPV and confirm that we can read successfully from the 2 segments. Giacinto will ask Yuri if it is possible to manufacture some SC as spares.

Jordan - New email from Pippo stating that the firmware for data transfer communication using old DDL1 protocol is ready. Pippo will do something manually to ensure that DAQ and FLP will be able to communicate. He will contact Giacinto and Guillermo to be able to install the software for DDL1 control. Jordan and Antonio will connect remotely, Guillermo will be in the lab. Jordan will reply to Pippo saying that Guillermo will be at CERN and that Jordan and Antonio will join remotely, and that Pippo should set a date such that we can support this installation. Send also to Pippo that there is a need to synchronise the machines.

Giacomo is working on the development of the code however there are no major news so far.

Jordan will be unavailable for the meeting on the 21/02/2019.
