User Reports / Overview :

ATLAS - sTGC : : 2 chambers (QS1+QS2 )to be placed on Friday, swapped on Monday (2 QS2).                  

 

ATLAS-MM :  Yesterday - rerouting of cables, moving to downstream area.
                          SM9 and SM12 in bunker, on universal trolley. Will stay for 2 weeks.

EP-DT1:  Fine. Radiating.

EP-DT2 :  3h Monday and Tuesday afternoon, short access before/after. filter 22-10

EcoGas : HFO bottles finished, new one ion order. 
Signal cable to be installed during one of the next access or  directly during Wednesday access.

CMS-RPC :  Trolley for testing the electronics is installed. Cosmics with background. ISEC visit done.
                      1 week program. 22-2.2 for 6h each.
                       For the other trolleys 2.2 requested.
Gas flow needs to be checked, as we are on the limit.

CMS-GEM 1&2 :  GEM 2 gas flow seems to be ok now.                                                                                                                                   GEM 1:  OFF

ATLAS-RPC :  BIS  trolley downstream in front of R&D setup.
                         No request for the R&D setup.                 

CMS-DT MB 1&2 :  Outside - Chambers fully re-cabled and re-connected to the gas lines

LHCb : New position checked and no complaining so far.

CMS-CSC:  Resumed irradiation after few problems with gas and HV.
                     Some irradiation time with absorption 10 requested for 4-6h.

Default filter settings :  2.2 

Thursday (today):  CMS-RPC 1h source OFF after the meeting then scan 4h-5h   22-2.2
                               Eco gas: source scan for 3h -> 1h each ABS (4.6, 10, 46) starting after lunch till 5pm                                                                                                                                                                             

Friday :   CMS-RPC  5h scan starting at 10h. 
               ATLAS-sTGC  (morning)  1h filter1, then  Access  at 9h (≈1h)      

Saturday : CMS-RPC runs with different absorbtion filters.

Sunday : CMS-RPC runns with different absorbtion filters.

Monday : ATLAS-sTGC  (morning)  1h filter1, then  Access  at 9h (≈1h)
                 EP-DT2 3h afterwards  short access before/after. filter 22
                combined with CMS-RPC.
                

Tuesday :  ATLAS-sTGC  (morning)  1h filter1, then  Access  at 9h (≈1h)
                 EP-DT2 3h afterwards  short access before/after. filter 10
                 combined with CMS-RPC.

introduction, goal of the test, plan, needs

Gas recuperation system to be installed (end of June) - Responsible : Roberto
4 additional racks in Gas Service area. One containing flammable gas.
FG detection system to be installed, power needs to be provided.

09:50 → 10:00 Infrastructure & Upgrades to the Facility

Improvements needed or planned for the facility.

Cleaning of DCS and installation of UPS : to be scheduled.

Ongoing Projects :
=============

Correction of Irradiator Signals after power cut.
Since installation of UPS, the Irradiator signals UNSAFE after a power cut, independently if the source was ON or OFF at the time. In reality, source will always be in safe position after power cut. Power cycle controls in control room to get correct status.

 

PyTIMBER :

    Additional values need to be collected/republished ?
        - REMUS  - to be included in GIF Display
        - XTDV - to be included in pytimber only
