DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Daniela Napoleoni (INFN - National Institute for Nuc
lear Physics)\, Johannes Henn\, Claude Duhr (CERN)\, Vittorio Del Duca (Un
iversita e INFN (IT))\nThe aim of the School is to bring together young th
eorists working on various aspects of precision computations and multi-loo
p scattering amplitudes.\n\nThe fifth edition of the school focuses prima
rily on computational techniques in\n\nNew mathematical techniques for loo
p computations\n\nIn recent years\, a huge progress has been made in our u
nderstanding of the mathematical structure of multi-loop integrals. This d
etailed understanding of the mathematics underlying loop computations has
been key to some of the most challenging precision computations ever perfo
rmed in perturbative Quantum Field Theory.\n\nThe school is addressed to P
h.D. students and post-docs in Theoretical High-Energy Physics and Mathema
tical Physics and aims at introducing them to cutting-edge mathematical to
ols for multi-loop computations. 30 hours of lectures and 9h of tutorials
will be delivered over the 10 days of the School. \n\nConfirmed Speaker
s:\n\n\n Ruth Britto (Dublin): Helicity amplitudes.\n Claude Duhr (CERN):
Modern algebra for multiloop amplitudes.\n James Drummond (Southampton):
N=4 Super Yang-Mills.\n Johannes Henn (MPI Munich): Differential equati
ons for multiloop amplitudes.\n Harald Ita (Freiburg): Unitarity and on-s
hell methods.\n Kirill Melnikov (Karlsruhe): Introduction to precision co
mputation for LHC physics.\n\n\nTutorials: Lorenzo Tancredi & Simone Zoia.
\n\nInternational Advisory committee:\n\n\n German Rodrigo (IFIC Valencia)
\n\n\nLocal organising committee:\n\n\n Vittorio Del Duca (ETH Zurich & IN
FN)\n Claude Duhr (CERN)\n Johannes Henn (MPI Munich)\n Daniela Napoleoni
(INFN)\n\n\nThe school is jointly funded by the COST Action PARTICLEFACE\
, the INFN and the MPI Munich.\n\n\n\n \n\nPreviou
