Quest for wilderness - a journey through the Seven Summits and the Volcanic Seven Summits

Speaker: Satyarup Siddhanta - the youngest person to climb the Seven Summits and the Volcanic Seven Summits

The highest mountain of each of the continents - the Seven Summits and the highest volcano of each of the continents - the Volcanic Seven Summits are an intriguing and integral part of a fascinating journey of Satyarup Siddhanta. Satyarup started these expeditions in 2012 and holds the Guinness world record of being the youngest to scale the fourteen summits. The journey to these highest and remotest places is entangled with stiff hurdles and impossible survival stories. Leadership lessons, teamwork and decision making were honed in pursuit of these mountaineering and exploration accomplishments.

Satyarup, an engineer by profession and an asthmatic, frequently shares his inspirational experiences in different platforms and leadership summits and regularly delivers motivational lectures in industry and academia.

Satyarup will share snippets of his voyage  - from the remote equatorial rain forests of Papua New Guinea to the cold Mount Denali, from the remotest volcanoes of Antarctica to the perils of Mount Everest and we will embark on this fascinating journey along with him.
