This talk will give a swift introduction to the LabVIEW software development environment, before describing how it can be used as the ‘glue’ between instrumentation and other programming languages. Various LabVIEW-based tools have been developed at CERN, some of which the use of will be shown, including several of interest to the ISOLDE community. There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion.
