Air travel
The most convenient airport for flying to the Chapel Hill area is RDU. Taxi service from RDU to any part of Chapel Hill can be arranged upon arrival or in advance; ride-sharing services like Uber or Lyft can be used, but there is a well-developed and orderly taxi service with a staging area located immediately at the exit of RDU terminal 2 (RDU Taxi).
Hotel accommodations in Chapel Hill
We have two hotels that are providing room blocks for the workshop: the AC Hotel Chapel Hill Downtown and the Hampton Inn & Suites Chapel Hill-Carrboro.
Both hotels are in reasonable walking distance from The PIT (< 10 minutes) and are located in nice parts of either Chapel Hill (AC) or Carrboro (Hampton) with many food or social opportunities nearby.
