UN SPECTACLE HORS DU COMMUN, ALLIANT MUSIQUE, VIDÉO, ÉLECTRONIQUE ET DÉCOUVERTE SCIENTIFIQUE
Lors de cette soirée, découvrez des œuvres composées dans le cadre du projet GeKiPe (GEste, KInect et PErcussion) avec l'ensemble Flashback pour le percussionniste Philippe Spiesser. Le projet GeKiPe explore les thématiques du geste en musique comme instrument : détection du geste avec des dispositifs de capteurs et des algorithmes de vision par ordinateur, utilisation du geste comme contrôle de synthèses sonores, notation des gestes pour le musicien ou pour l’ordinateur, et le geste en réalité virtuelle ou augmentée. Ainsi, chaque geste est lié à un son, à une intensité ou à une image. Une réelle performance technique et scénique qui nous projette vers le monde de la réalité virtuelle.

AN AMAZING PERFORMANCE COMBINING MUSIC, VIDEO, ELECTRONICS AND SCIENTIFIC DISCOVERIES
The evening will take you on a journey of discovery of works composed as part of the project GeKiPe (GEsture, KInect and PErcussion) with the ensemble Flashback for the percussionist Philippe Spiesser. GeKiPe explores the themes of gesture as an instrument in music: detection of gesture with sensor devices and vision algorithms by computer, use of gesture as a means of controlling sound syntheses, rating of gestures for the musician and computer, and the gesture in virtual and augmented reality. Each gesture is therefore linked to a sound, an intensity or an image. A real technical and scenic performance which projects us towards the world of virtual reality.
