Rare decays

Room: Conference Room This lecture presents the topic of rare decays of Standard Model particles, as a sensitive means towards detecting New Physics. While NP has not been revealed at the LHC so far via our direct searches, Rare Decays retain sensitivity to NP, even if its scale lies beyond the LHC collision energy. As it happens, the so-called "flavour anomalies" provide currently the most significant evidence for NP yet.

Matter at high density and temperature
