Multi-messenger Astronomy and Astrophysics Workshop

Asia/Seoul
Muju Resort, Korea

Muju Resort, Korea

Description

Dates: Feb. 5, 2020 - Feb. 7, 2020

Venue: Mozart Ball Room (1st Floor of Hotel Tirol), Muju Resort, Korea. http://www.mdysresort.com

Multi-messenger astronomy and astrophysics emerges and gets a lot of attention from multiple communities of astronomy, astrophysics, particle and nuclear physics. In particular, recent detection of gravitational wave and astrophysical neutrinos makes this field more interesting in combination with electromagnetic observations because there exist potential celestial objects that emit all of these. In this workshop, we share the current status of this field and search for future research topics by having discussions among researchers from different fields.
