ALICE #no elog

  • MTR

Reminder:

    • exhaust pressure regulation does not work
    • mixer pressure regulation does not work: Zimmerli not installed
  • CPV
    • Start to reconnect the detectors
    • There are 5 channels in WinCC-OA while there are 10 in the distribution —> Michal
  • TPC
    • Start to put Neon in the TPC
    • Problem with the water cooling of the purifier column: solenoid valve changed has it was blocked
    • O2 analyser: change of cell and calibration
  • TRD
    • Missing one signal in the recuperation: Michal fixed

Reminder

    • Purifier: to review if keep the safety valve or the rupture disk
    • Purifier: safety valve at the input where we have Ar or Ar/H2 at high pressure —> LPh to check with safety

ATLAS #2075

  • CSC

Reminder:

    • After the power-cut there was not communication with PLC: damage of differential circuit breaker —> to repair
  • MDT
    • Work on-going for 2nd pump

Reminder:

    • In general: several problems with pressure sensor in MDT. Patrick said to add a resistance in the channel
  • RPC
    • Mixer instability since 6th November: injection increased of 250 l/h
    • Kacper said nothing seen in the flowcell
    • You see a step in the total flow of the flowcells on the 05 November —> Kacper to check from where it is going
    • RPC people said there was a leak on 06/11 and they repaired on 07/11
    • New manifolds arrived
  • TRT
    • Problem with web-mass —> Michal to check

CMS #2070

  • RPC
    • OFF
    • Dummy chambers construction on-going
    • Electrical cable of rack 85 to finish (even if it is CMS responsibility)
    • Start foreseen for 26th November
    • Jonathan did the connection of the 3 dummy chambers
    • Rack 85: problem of pressure sensors in error: problem in the cable (UX-US) —> Anton to change it
  • DT

Reminder:

    • Test for power cut and re-start for the exhaust line —> to do other tests
  • CSC
    • To stop the system to install differential pressure sensor on the pump and Krohne (Tue)

Reminder:

    • Warning to set-up —> Beatrice/Michal/Roberto
  • GEM
    • Ga system working
    • Flowcells problem in rack 61:
      • Ch 3 and 7: to regulate the input flow by closing a bit the flowcell
      • Ch 5: to change the output flowcell

Reminder:

    • To modify the réseaux socket for the GEMPLC (now it is with TOTEM) —> Andrea
  • R134a recuperation
    • To do:
      • Heating tape for the exhaust pipe
      • compressor test with R134a
      • Piping
      • Add buffer with FESTO volume of 20 liter
    • 22nd: safety and electrical inspection
    • To understand logic in case of presence of leak/iC4H10 —> Roberto/Nicola Broca

LHCb #2074

  • RICH1
    • in Run with CO2
    • 1.5 ppm of O2 every 2 days

Reminder

    • Re-fill with CO2 but we take 600 ppm because the pump took Air —> to think what it can be done to avoid Air intake at the re-start of the system
  • RICH2
    • need to finish installation of by-pass to re-inject into the mixer
  • GC
    • Now it is working
  • SciFi
    • Electrical work done
    • Commissioning this week
    • Profibus cable not pull in the right way for the analysis trolley: instead of being in series it is in “parallel” —> to check what it can be done

PIQUET

  • CMS GEM
    • Regulation valve of the pump was keeping going to zero
    • Kacper went in place to regulate and it disconnected the pressure on the Zimmerli
  • ATLAS MDT
    • Problem with the humidifier: not enough pressure to push the gas in the humidifier

GENERAL

  • CMS Regulation valve summary by Sabino
    • 4 valves will be installed
  • Presentation of Demetrio
  • Aging test
    • In a new rotameter from Krohne: connector with glue
