‘’Engineering High School (EHS) of Riga Technical University (RTU) is the first general secondary education establishment in Latvia that has been founded within the framework of a university. It is the place where the most talented Latvian schoolchildren will be able to acquire the study courses in exact and natural sciences at an advanced level to get prepared for the engineering studies. At EHS, special attention is paid to the integration of engineering studies and scientific research activities into the study process.

Talsi State gymnasium, Latvia
Talsi State gymnasium is the one of the largest gymnasium in Kurzeme.
Talsi State gymnasium is an educational institution providing students competitive education. There are 5 general education programmes in TSG with 255 students each. In parallel with the education programs, gymnasium offers a wide range of cultural education measures , sports, technical innovation programme. There is large diversity of innovative methods used by teachers for learning of any curricula - theory is mixed with workshops, study tours to laboratories and research institutions, lectures, classes, etc.
TSG has a large educational project experience in different programs at national and international level.
Valmiera State Gymnasium
The present building of Valmiera State Gymnasium was built as an educational institution in1901 and has always served for education. This year we are proud to celebrate its 100th anniversary. Throughout its long history the gymnasium has given profound knowledge and has shed light on path of life to thousands of graduates, including ex-Minister of Culture of Latvia Dace Melbārde, politician Andris Piebalgs, scientists Alvis Sokolovs, Paulis Irbins, the leading researcher at Massachusetts Institute of Technology Madars Virza, and many, many more.
Valmiera State Gymnasium is one of the five secondary educational establishments in Valmiera Municipality. We are proud of the high quality education offered in our school, which is proven in various state competitions and school subject Olympiads as well as in the centralised national examinations. Not only is Valmiera State Gymnasium the best school in Valmiera, but it is also known in Vidzeme Region and in the country as a progressive school, which uses different innovative tools and methods in the teaching process. The school acts as a regional methodological centre of continuing professional development (CPD). Currently there are 387 students (aged 13-19) and 50 teachers. The students are from twenty-seven different municipalities and towns. Learners can also develop their skills specific to their career path through interest education programmes, which provide in-depth knowledge and opportunities to learn about future occupations of students, and a variety of extracurricular activities. The extra-curricular classes are led by lecturers from universities and specialists from various companies.

Aizkraukle Regional Secondary School
Aizkraukle Regional Secondary School with over 800 students and 84 members of pedagogical staff is located in the South-East of Latvia, on the banks of the River Daugava. We are proud to come from the city where the light is born. The largest hydroelectric power plant in the Baltics produces electricity, so do we develop smart, energetic, ambitious and curious new generation of the physicists. We do love physics and CERN! And like CERN we are eager to know the nature of things and how the Universe works.
Cesis New Primary School
Cesis New Primary School, is founded only 7 years ago and still growing, with every year more and more children want to become a part of our family. The council of the school have decided that the size of the class will not exceed 12 children. In all aspects of school life we ask beforehand "Why are we doing this? What is the goal and, purpose?" We never do something just because it is done this way before, we ask, think, and only then decide and act. In our school, everything happens for real - as in life, based on experiences, discoveries and proven hypotheses are constantly evolving and changing in the school environment, learning approach, vision and values.
