The purpose of this workshop is to gather everyone involved in the simulation working group (WG1) to review the plans for 2020 and assign specific tasks to people interested on working on them.
Rough agenda:
- 19th afternoon: Discuss overall plan and each project - define goals and timelines, identify missing steps/tools
- 20th: Development work in small teams on different coding projects (e.g. Geant4 Model, MC Processor, modular event generator, NEST implementation)
DARWIN collaborators interested on joining the effort or contributing with their expertise to the WG1 are welcome.
The workshop will take place at the Physics Institute of the Heidelberg University (Im Neuenheimer Feld 226, 69120 Heidelberg). The room will be announce soon.
We will start after lunch on February 19, so most of the attendants can travel to Heidelberg the same day.
